Shuttles and buses stop at Aillon-Le-Jeune Village 3km away. The car is therefore recommended if you then want to move around the region. We can pick you up on the day of your arrival and bring you back to the shuttles on the day of departure if you let us know in advance.

Grand Chambéry also has a carpooling platform, think about it!

Coming by car:

- From Geneva, Paris and Lyon: A43 then A41 motorway, exit 14 Aix-les-Bains Nord- From Grenoble: A43/N201 motorway, exit 18 Massif des Bauges.

Be careful, in snowy weather, the road from Chambéry passes through the Col des Prés, which is easily covered in snow. P

High periods and off-peak periods: At the Ferme de la Bottière, there are only three prices:

- Summer school holidays where we only rent by the week

- Christmas / New Year's and Winter school holidays where we only rent by the week as well

- Excluding school holidays, where we rent from 2 nights.

Note: we keep the low season rates during the Easter and All Saints school holidays but only rent by the week, except at the last minute.

The rates are then increased by any commissions of the platforms used.

The cheapest is therefore to go live! You will then have the best price, always with a contract.

Sheets, towels and table linen: Sheets, towels, tea towels and tablecloths are provided free of charge in our cottages from 7 nights.

The beds are made on your arrival, so all you have to do is unpack your suitcases.

The current health period somewhat complicates our organization. this is why we ask you to put unused linen in the cupboards from the start of your stay. This avoids unnecessary cleaning, our planet will appreciate your gesture!

Cleaning option:

This option corresponds to the cleaning of the floor, sanitary facilities and the bathroom. In any case, the kitchen must be clean and the dishes washed and put away. The sheets are to be undone.

Deposit: In order to finalize the reservation, a deposit payment by check or bank transfer of 25% of the amount of the stay is requested. From the day you book the accommodation, you have 7 days to pay this deposit. Beyond that, the option is canceled and the accommodation is automatically rented out by the platforms we use. These deposits are not refundable unless we manage to re-let the cottage on the canceled dates.

Balance :

The balance of the rental is to be paid on the day of arrival in the accommodation, by transfer, check or cash. It includes the tourist tax.

Tourist tax:

You will find on your contract the amount of the tourist tax, paid to the municipality. Children under 15 are exempt.

Caution :

On your arrival, we will ask you for two deposits:

- 80€ in cash for cleaning if you have not taken the cleaning option, which we will return to you on the day of departure after having toured the accommodation with you. This deposit can be deposited in cash or by check.

- 200€ by check that we will cross and burn no later than 7 days after your departure. (Supporting evidence !)

Return the keys :

The keys are handed over from 5 p.m., in order to allow us to clean the accommodation, disinfect it and ventilate it and redo the beds before your arrival.

If you plan to arrive after 7 p.m., please let us know.

We live in the same building as our gites. This allows us to welcome you personally on your arrival to make you discover your accommodation and its exterior, and to answer your first questions.

We provide you with a list of the equipment present in the cottage. This one is in good condition, the electronic equipment works, the quantities of crockery are regularly checked. However, if you find a discrepancy between our list and what you see, or if an item is damaged, we invite you to let us know as soon as you arrive, so that we can carry out the necessary repairs and facilitate the inventory of fixtures. exit.

We pay great attention to the preparation of your accommodation so that you will find the comfort of a family mountain home. If, however, we had forgotten something or if you need basic necessities or equipment for your children, do not hesitate to come knock on our door or contact us by text message, we will be delighted to make your stay easier!

Departure time and exit inventory:

Departure is to be expected at 10:00 a.m. at the latest, always in order to clean the accommodation, disinfect it and ventilate it before the next guests.

At the agreed time the day before, we will take a tour of the gite together.

Household chores :

To help you not forget anything, here is a list of what we will check together:

- The cottage is in order and tidy (tell us the breakage so that we can replace the missing items!)

- The dishes are washed and put away

- The beds are unmade, and the sheets are folded with the towels (if provided) in the laundry basket sent the day before for this purpose

- The garden is clean and tidy, including the barbecue grill

- If you have not chosen the cleaning option, the cleaning has been done, the bins are empty.

In order to facilitate your departure, the tour that we carry out is fast. We will carry out the final checks in the hours/days that follow. The deposit check will be crossed and burned within 7 days of your departure. A photo proof will be sent to you.

If the state of the lodging requires it, a putting in order and a thorough cleaning will be invoiced at the price of the cleaning option.

We have a lot of equipment for babies and children, especially for snow (sledges, snowshoes, etc.) and ballads (baby carrier, stroller, etc.)

Where to shop?

You can do your shopping at the Sherpa d'Aillon-Station (La Correrie), 6min by car. It is open in season 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Leaving in the other direction, you can stock up at the Carrefour contact du Chatelard, 15 minutes by car, which has a petrol station.

A well-stocked organic supermarket, particularly with local products, is present in Lescheraines: Croc'en Bauges.

The cooperative cheese dairy of Aillon-Village offers, in addition to its cheese, organic bread every day (loaves of bread, no baguette) from Ecole or Noyer. Another bakery is located in Lescheraines.

The markets are Tuesday morning in Lescheraines and Friday morning in Chatelard.

You come here on vacation, and we will receive you as friends. This is why, in order for everyone to feel free and respected, we have chosen to display certain basic rules of life, which you will find in the welcome booklet.

Parking :

The farm has several parking spaces:

- Up on the path (entrance at 19 impasse de l'alpage) for the Gîte du Colombier

- Down the other side of the road next to the barn for the Margériaz car park

- If you come with several cars, please park next to the school bus stop located 50m away (outside school days), or on the other side of the road opposite the bus stop.

Special Winter: We remove snow from the surroundings of the cottages and car parks as quickly as possible during episodes of snow. Thank you for your indulgence. A shovel is at your disposal outside your gite if necessary. Watch out for snowfall from the roof!

Condition of the cottage:

By renting our cottage, you agree to respect the premises, and to leave them on your departure in the state in which you found it. Please let us know of any breakage during your stay, out of respect for the next family.

No smoking :

Our house is non-smoking, in accordance with the decree of November 16, 2006. It is forbidden to smoke inside. By contravening this instruction, the tenant unilaterally breaks the contract which binds him to the owner and exposes himself to having to leave the premises immediately. As compensation, the deposit will not be returned. You will understand, smoke outside please. We have placed an ashtray on the edge of a window near the front door.

Pets :

To allow the reception of people sensitive to certain allergenic factors, our animal friends are not allowed. Thanks for understanding

Outdoor games:

We have installed a swing and a slide in the common garden.

The children of the gîte can access it, only under the responsibility and supervision of their parents. Indeed, these games are for use at the family level and in no case have an approval for use at the community level.

Composting, waste sorting and respect for water:

Here nature is at the center of our concerns. This is why we logically suggest that you take part in the protection of the fauna and flora during your stay:

- A composter is available at the top of the garden near the swing. It accommodates fruits and vegetables and eggshells. No paper or leftover meat and fish.

- The waste is all picked up at the collection points, one of which is towards the main town of Aillon-le-Vieux and another is at the crossroads of Aillon-village. Please remember to sort your waste (household waste, glass, recyclable packaging)

- Those who join us in winter or during periods of snowmelt quickly notice that the Bauges massif is full of water, springs and resurgences supplying more than 80% of the lakes of Annecy and Bourget. Here, there is no collective sanitation: after filtration downstream of the septic tank, our waste water discharges therefore go back into the streams. Be careful with the products used for cleaning, bleach is prohibited here, and only toilet paper is allowed in the toilets, which would quickly clog if even degradable wipes were used.
